I guess it’s about time that we make a post about our Header Image for our blog. Here are the photo itself along with more from the same area called Einunndalen in Norway. Probably not the most visited place by foreign tourist, but quite known by Norwegians who like mountainous landscape above the tree line. Now, you don’t have to be high above the sea level to be over the tree line in Norway though, just about 500 meters depending on the area and less in the north.
Notre-Dame de Paris (Our Lady of Paris), or just simply Notre Dame is one of the most famous and most visited Gothic cathedrals in the world. It’s situated on the Île de la Cité on the river Seine in Paris, France.
When we visited the city on a sunny but cold and windy weekend in the spring of 2016, we used the opportunity to take a closer look at this impressive building.
Here are a few photos we like to share with you guys, hope you enjoy them as much as we do.
Briksdalsbreen is maybe the best known arm of the bigger Jostedalsbreen in Norway, the biggest glacier on continental Europe. Its not only the glacier that are spectacular, the path from the parking presents us with some breathtaking impressions as well.
What an amazing place! We’ve been wanting to make this post for a long time, but for different reasons its been put on hold. Iguazu Falls in the Parana state of Brazil is a well kept secret, at least for us in Norway. At the time we went there, I’ve never heard anybody talk about it. Now, more than 10 years later, I’ve only talked to a couple that mention something like, isn’t there a waterfall on the border between Brazil and Argentina? Sure thing it is! And here are our photos of this natural marvel!
The Itaipu Dam is located on the Parana River on the border between Paraguay and Brazil, and its a joint venture between those two countries. The dam is 196 meters high and 7919 meters long, and has an installed capacity of 14 GW, with a record producing year in 2016 with staggering 103 TWh (103 098 366 MWh), witch even surpasses the Chinese Three Gorges Dam in annual energy production.
